The Marienheim is a temporary home for women who are in school, vocational training or studying. As a residential facility in a central location in Stuttgart, we offer a framework where the residents can concentrate on their education and organise their everyday lives independently.
To ensure that the home remains a good place to live and learn in the future, we would like to realise a number of projects in the coming years:

  • Redesigning the ‘leisure room’ in the basement of the home to create a space that is open at all times for people to meet and socialise.
  • The eight shared kitchens are not only used for cooking – they are also a place for chatting, laughing and socialising. Through gradual modernisation and an inviting atmosphere, the kitchens will remain lively meeting places in the everyday lives of the residents in the future
  • Renovation of the heritage-protected tin roof (rear of the building) to permanently safeguard the building’s substance.
